Matcham’s Restaurant is situated at The Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham, offering theatregoers the chance to enjoy a fine pre-show supper without having to worry about missing the evening’s performance, as well as lunch from 11.30am before Thursday matinees.

Named after Frank Matcham – the late, great British theatre designer responsible for The Everyman Theatre’s breathtaking auditorium – Matcham’s Restaurant is modern, light and elegant, offering diners a menu of fresh British cuisine alongside a decent wine list.

Sample dishes include chicken and ham terrine, venison and Guinness casserole and oyster mushroom pasta, while a blackboard boasting regularly-changing seasonal desserts can also be found. Diners can also opt to enjoy their dessert during a performance’s interval, and non-theatregoers are also welcome at the restaurant.
