Tiger's EyeCategory: Japanese restaurantsArea: Gloucester9A Southgate StreetGloucester GL1 1TG Telephone: (01452) 332993 Tiger’s Eye is an innovative Pan-Asian fusion restaurant situated at The Old Bell on Gloucester’s historic Southgate Street, and includes two bars and a lounge area. The unique menu is inspired by head chef Rob Sinyard’s extensive travels across Asia, with highlights including a range of fresh sushi; tempura; slow cooked belly of pork with ginger dumplings and pak choi fried rice; lemon and sesame coated chicken with spring greens and ramen noodles; and steamed cod with wild mushrooms and glass noodles. The Black Rock Grill really gives this city centre restaurant the edge, however, where guests are given the chance to enjoy an interactive dining experience and cook their meat to their liking on a super-heated volcanic rock right at the table. Choose from fine beef fillet steak to kangaroo fillet, Reggae Reggae-marinated chicken to tuna loin and more. Homemade desserts, speciality drinks including warm sake and a relaxed atmosphere can also be found as this popular Gloucester eatery.
