1. Pink

While dusky pale tones were popular for autumn/winter 2016, this spring sees fuchsia take the starring role. From delicate knits to statement heels, expect to see pink crop up in both fashion and accessories.

2. Cold shoulders

Cold shoulder tops show no sign of disappearing for spring 2017, with the silhouette perfect for showing a bit of skin without getting too chilly. Team with jeans for casual weekend wear, or dress up with heels for nights out on the town.

3. Ruffles

Expect to see waves of ruffles adding a playful touch to shirts, jumpers, skirts, dresses and even trousers this spring. Avoid going overboard by teaming your ruffles with understated accessories, jeans and simple knitwear.

4. Embroidery

From khaki shirts and jeans, you’ll be seeing embroidery details featured on an array of clothing this season. If you’re unsure of the trend, dip your toe in by adding an embroidered clutch bag to your wardrobe.

5. Slogan t-shirts

Playful, effortlessly wearable and easy to dress up and down, it’s no surprise that slogan t-shirts have become a firm favourite for stylish celebrities. Expect to see the trend reflected on the rails of High Street shops this spring and summer.
