Shoppers will have an exciting new spot to hunt for antique treasures, homeware, and giftware when The Malthouse Collective sets up shop at Salmon Springs in Stroud this autumn.
The new shop, which will be situated on the former site of The Malthouse Emporium following its relocation to Tewkesbury, is due to open its doors to the public on Sunday 5 November 2017.
The vision behind the new venture is to showcase a collaboration of antique dealers and artists by offering them the chance to rent space in the shop to display their creations, which are then sold by The Malthouse Collective.
Owner of the shop, Lindsey Butcher, said: ‘We hope to provide a unique opportunity for makers to rent space for their jewellery in a Victorian glass cabinet or showcase their pottery on an old factory trolley.
‘We are actively looking for makers of all disciplines to join us, from glass blowers, through to painters, ceramic artists, jewellers, sculptors and photographers.’
The Malthouse Collective benefits from plenty of on-site parking, while the neighbouring restaurant, The Malthouse Bar and Kitchen is perfect for enjoying lunch or coffee and cakes during your visit.
If you’re a designer, maker or antique dealer and are keen to get involved in The Malthouse Collective, call Lindsey on 07977 268364 to find out more information.
