This Sunday 12 September 2010 will see a swarm of competitors take part in the 10th annual Cheltenham Triathlon – with all funds raised going to the Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund (LINC) and Sandford Parks Lido charities.
Competitors aged 17 and over will need to grab their goggles for the swimming leg of this highly popular sporting event which will see competitors front-crawling 10 lengths of Sandford Parks Lido’s revamped 50 metre outdoor pool to complete the 500 metre distance.
Next it’s time for helmets for the 15 kilometre cycling race, before an energetic 2.7 kilometres run through Cheltenham town and the picturesque hills of the Cotswolds completes the triathlon.
Organisers say that while the official closing date for entering is not until Saturday 4 September 2010, due to popularity it is likely to close much sooner, so don’t delay getting your name down.
