Ice skating in Gloucester Christmas 2008
Until 4 January – Gloucester’s open air ice rink will be open once again this Christmas 2008, offering families the chance to get their skates on this winter.
Get your skates on and wrap-up warm for a slice of wintery delights in Gloucester city centre, as the annual open air ice skating rink is open in Kings Square until Sunday 4 January 2009.
Whether you could give Torvill and Dean a run for their money or have trouble staying on two feet there are sessions to suit all ages and abilities.
The ice rink is open in Gloucester come rain, shine or snow, so come prepared whatever the weather. Dress warmly and comfortably and remember that thick trousers, especially jeans, can soak up a lot of water if you take a tumble. Wear thick socks and gloves, but not scarves.
