Went along to Rise Helicopters on Saturday for the £20 ride. It was excellent and couldn't believe how cheap it was!...

Wii Challenge at GL1 in Gloucester
17 May – Nintendo Wii fans and first-timers alike from across the county are invited to the Wii Challenge day at GL1 Leisure Centre in Gloucester, where professional coaches will be helping all the family get fit with a little help from the games consoles.
Fans of the Nintendo Wii from across Gloucestershire can now put their virtual skills into practice with help from professional sports coaches, when would-be golfers, boxers and tennis players are invited to mix and match sessions at Gloucester’s GL1 Leisure Centre on Saturday 17 May 2008.
Pat Bailey, Gloucester City Council’s Sports Development Manager, said: ‘People may have tried golf, boxing and tennis using the Wii but not had a chance to try these sports or improve their skills in real life. This is an event for all the family to have fun and learn new skills, which will help to improve their wellbeing through more physical activity.’
The Wii Challenge at GL1 in Gloucester is free to take part and all ages are invited to come along and join in with the fun – there are even a few prizes to be won if you’re pretty nifty with a Wii controller.
