Forest of Dean Autograss Race

Petrolheads from across the south west will be heading to Gloucestershire, when the next Forest of Dean Autograss race gets underway.

Gloucestershire is home to more than its fair share of gripping spectator events – from cheese rolling and football in the river to shin kicking and Severn Bore surfing – but there’s yet another addition to the list.

Enter the Forest of Dean Autograss – a regular event organised by the eponymous Forest of Dean Autograss Club – which sees dozens of daredevil drivers take to their specially modified cars, before pitting their skills on an oval-shaped track.

While the cars may look like bangers, and the track like a music festival aftermath, this dazzling spectacular sees plenty of speed, slides and scrapes – with numerous events throughout the day.

Hundreds of hardcore fans and families enjoying a day out turn up to catch the action, providing plenty of great camera opportunities, with refreshments available off the track.
