Perhaps the AVIVA Premiership’s biggest rivalry will be reignited on Saturday 20 December 2014, when Bath Rugby returns to Kingsholm Stadium, with kick off scheduled for 5.30pm.
The match will arguably be the biggest of the season for many Gloucester supporters, who would love nothing more than to see the Cherry and Whites trounce their greatest foes.
The last time Bath visited Kingsholm, Gloucester gave it all to a sell-out crowd, but a controversial ending saw the visiting team take the spoils, ending with a score of 17-18.
The game was frenetic, with four penalties from Billy Twelvetrees and an excellent Henry Trinder finish looking to have won the game for the Cherry and Whites – before a late penalty to the visitors swung it in their favour, in the closing moments.
Whichever way the score goes, this match will be a guaranteed corker in rugby’s greatest local derby.
