Cheltenham sports destination, East Glos Club, is set to host its annual Open Day this spring, promising a fantastic day out with family-friendly activities, and a special membership offer available only on the day.

The hotly anticipated event, taking place on Saturday 18 May 2019, welcomes all ages – and whether you’re an experienced tennis player or complete beginner, there will be something for all abilities. Even better, the first 50 visitors will receive a goody bag containing products from East Glos Club’s pro shop!

East Glos Club’s event offers the opportunity to try tennis or squash for free, with a Fastest Serve Competition putting visitors’ skills to the test, and the chance to take on the Battle the Ball Machine. Meanwhile, budding Murrays can practice their game by joining in Mini Tennis matches during the day.

With activities spanning East Glos Club’s impressive 28 courts, and boasting four different playing surfaces, there will also be the chance to get your heart rate up, with both tennis and squash coaching on offer, as well as cardio tennis sessions with the club’s conditioning coach.

What’s more, East Glos will provide a free one month’s membership to everyone who joins on the day, in addition to offering a 10 per cent discount in the Pro Shop, and a 20 per cent discount on coaching courses booked on the day.

Situated on Old Bath Road in Cheltenham, East Glos Club is a long-established club with excellent playing and coaching facilities which are continually being upgraded.

In addition to the wide range of tennis courts, East Glos has four squash courts and offers coaching in tennis, squash and women’s hockey. The club is also the only racquet sports specialist in the area and boasts a range of clothing and equipment – even to non-members – as well as a racquet stringing service.
