Gloucester Rugby is giving aspiring female rugby players across the county the chance to improve their game with the professionals, with a Girls Only Rugby Camp during the half term holiday.
Aimed at girls aged between 11 and 18, the increasingly popular girls-only camp will be held at Dursley RFC on Wednesday 14 February 2018, led by Gloucester and Samoan international Terry Fanolua and professional rugby coaches.
The one-day course has been developed and designed by professional coaches using the most up-to-date techniques in order to offer the best possible experience for the participants.
Girls can transform their skill levels with the chance to hear top tips from professional rugby coaches, receiving specially tailored advice about how to develop skills, all within a fun and friendly environment.
They can expect a fun and enjoyable experience developing core skills, including the basic principles of handling; decision making; tackle techniques, rucking, mauling and defensive systems; the principles of speed and agility; game analysis; and one of the most important aspects of the sport, team building.
