Gloucester Rugby is delivering aspiring female rugby players across the county the chance to improve their game with the professionals, with a Girls Only Rugby Camp this Easter.
Aimed at girls aged between 11 and 18, the increasingly popular girls-only camp will be held at Sir Thomas Rich’s Sports Centre on Friday 21 April 2017.
The one-day course has been developed and designed by professional coaches using the most up-to-date techniques in order to offer the best possible experience for the participants.
Girls can transform their skill levels or just have fun, with the chance to hear top tips from professional rugby coaches.
They can expect a fun and enjoyable experience developing core skills, including the basic principles of handling; decision making; tackle techniques, rucking, mauling and defensive systems; the principles of speed and agility; game analysis; and one of the most important aspects of the sport, team building.
