Communities will be teaming up to take part in the Forest of Dean’s Relay for Life this June, promising to be a fantastic fundraising event running through the night, with proceeds going towards Cancer Research UK.

Taking place from Saturday 27 June 2020, the overnight relay invites teams of between eight and 15 to get involved, with each member taking turns to walk around the track at Dean Academy for the duration of the event.

Participants will be kept in high spirits with music, games, entertainment and food all on offer, turning the 24-hour challenge into a colourful celebration of life.

What’s more, Relay for Life will begin with a lap of honour for cancer survivors, during which supporters and team mates can cheer them on.
