The Wharf House hosts Gold Cup winners

The Wharf House played host to the Gold Cup winners and the iconic trophy, with the owners of Sizing John staying at the Gloucester venue during Cheltenham Festival 2017.

Home to a restaurant and accommodation, The Wharf House in Over welcomed winning guests during The Festival 2017, with the owners of Gold Cup champion, Sizing John, making it their home for the week.

The horse’s owners, Ann and Alan Potts, celebrated victories in the Coral Cup and the Gold Cup, with The Wharf House playing host to the guests and their revered trophies.

A coup for the riverside hotel and restaurant, The Wharf House is sure to attract guests hoping to follow the Potts’ success in 2018, with most nights already full for next year’s race week.

A picturesque venue which is part of the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal Trust, The Wharf House offers AA 4 Gold Star awarded accommodation, with characterful rooms and glorious river views.
