Rush Skatepark in Stroud offers a unique riding experience in one of the largest indoor parks in the world – spanning five different sections across the impressive 40,000 square feet park.

The award-winning family-run skatepark was founded by Jerry and Michelle Norman in 2013, with the idea for the business dreamt up while travelling in search of the perfect park for their 11-year-old son, Josh, to practise his skate skills.

The park is housed in the former warehouse studios of artists Damien Hurst, which has been transformed into a sophisticated skatepark to offer a unique riding experience across the five different areas, spanning a street section, park and bowl sections, a jump track, a foam pit and a resi ramp.

All levels are catered for, with kids, adults and silver surfers, welcomed at the family-friendly attraction that is fully marshalled to ensure that visitors can ride in safety, whether you’re a fan of BMX, scooters, skateboards or inline skates.

Parents can enjoy a bird’s eye view of all five sections from the viewing platform, while there’s also a Parent’s Lounge with an 80” screen showing the action from the park; free Wi-Fi, and plenty of comfy sofas and armchairs to relax in, a freshly cooked hot snack, homemade cake and a cup of barista coffee from the on-site café.

The Rush Shop stocks a range of BMX bikes, equipment, scooters, helmets, clothing and safety equipment, while The Workshop offers the chance to give your bike or scooter some TLC with its Full Service Package.

Rush also offers a range of birthday party packages, along with running a busy calendar of events and hosting coaching sessions for those looking to sharpen their skills, with individual and group lessons available.
