Prescott Speed Hill Climb near Cheltenham is one of the UK’s most prestigious racing venues, having played home to top flight motor racing as well as vintage and classic meetings for cars and bikes for almost 80 years.

Visitors from across Gloucestershire and far beyond flock to Prescott for special events held throughout the year, which in 2009 include the British & Midland Championships Weekend, La Vie en Bleu, Midsummer Speed Fest, Vintage Sports Car Club Weekend, British Championships Weekend and The Autumn Classic.

As well as being the home of the Bugatti Owners’ Club, Prescott Speed Hill Climb also runs a Drivers School giving budding drivers the chance to perfect their skills on the UK’s finest hill climb course, following in the footsteps of legends Stirling Moss, Peter Collins and Graham Hill – who all started their racing careers here.

La Vie en Bleu was amazing. The first time I have been to Prescott and couldn't believe how good an event it was. I also didn't realise we have a racing track so close to Cheltenham. It's also made me want a vintage Bugatti now though... better start saving up. Ohh and what lovely weather we had too. 28 May 2009

I'd not heard of Prescott until now - or at least didn't realise they held public events. I just read about the La Vie en Bleu event which sounds fab and also just saw a couple of great videos on You Tube too. 16 April 2009

Went to one of the Prescott events last year where they had the Veyron (or a few I think!) and it was fantastic. Worth getting their early is my only advice! 23 March 2009
