Johnny Cash Comes to Town at The Roses

Event ended

For one night only Johnny Cash Comes To Town will be taking to the stage at the Roses in Tewkesbury.

Don't miss what promises to be a great tribute to the late Johnny Cash.
Don't miss what promises to be a great tribute to the late Johnny Cash.

Chances are if you weren’t already a fan of the legendary Johnny Cash before Joaquin Phoenix paid homage to the great country and rock ‘n’ roll singer in the blockbuster Walk the Line, then you are now.

Fans old and new will be flocking to the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury this February, when Roger Dean returns to celebrate the legacy of Cash by performing classic songs including ‘A Boy Named Sue’, ‘Ring of Fire’, ‘Orange Blossom Special’ and, of course, ‘I Walk the Line’.

Having spent a lifetime in the entertainment business, Roger Dean has been singing Johnny Cash songs since age 14 – appearing on the television and radio doing so – and like Johnny Cash is gifted with a storyteller’s voice.

Roger Dean will be joined on stage in Tewkesbury by fellow musicians The Lazy Boys, promising audiences an authentic taste of the late Johnny Cash from a tribute band the man in black himself could be proud of.
