The WestEnders at the Roses Theatre
18 July – Musical lovers across the county will get more than their fix of show stopping tunes when The WestEnders perform at the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury this summer.
Not to be confused with Pat Butcher and Peggy Mitchell’s ragtag bunch of Londoners, The WestEnders are a professional group of performers who will be bringing a selection of hit tunes from top West End musicals to the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury once again on Saturday 18 July 2009.
Combining the talents of six seasoned performers – who have appeared in over 20 of the most popular and prestigious West End Musicals of the last decade – the audience can expect to hear hits from Beauty & the Beast, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Aspects Of Love, Jesus Christ Superstar and Oliver among others during their current More of the Best Musicals Ever show.
According to organisers, ‘in one spectacular evening of family entertainment the WestEnders will perform with brilliant vocal arrangements and orchestrations, which have been earning standing ovations and critical acclaim at venues nationwide’.
