The crowd is always good to and there's a lively atmosphere. My only recommendation is to arrive early. Oh, and I took a first date to one night...

It won’t just be mums and dads heading for Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre this month, when the timeless children’s classic The Frog Prince is performed live on stage from Tuesday 2 to Saturday 13 December 2008.

When Prince Ned tries to use magic to help him make a costume for the palace fancy dress party, things don’t quite turn out as he intended. Meanwhile, crosspatch Princess Polly finds it hard to make friends and certainly has no intention of inviting a slippery slimy frog home for tea.

The popular Brothers Grimm fairytale is set to be brought vividly to life on stage by none other than Gloucestershire’s own, Stroud-based, company Red Dog. Adapted by Jude Emmet, organisers promise this delightful show will enchant both young and old.

Aimed at children aged three and upwards, the show last 45 minutes – and children, not to mention their parents, are sure to be glued to the live stage action.
