The Big Laugh at Gloucester Guildhall
The first Big Laugh comedy club of the autumn arrives at Gloucester Guildhall this September, with Charlie Baker headlining.
While the summer will be a thing of the past, there are reasons to be cheerful during the first week of autumn when The Big Laugh takes up its monthly residency at Gloucester Guildhall once again.
Comedian Charlie Baker will be headlining the comedy club on Saturday 4 September 2010, with Joe Bor and a third to-be-announced name also adding the entertainment.
Organisers say: ‘Imagine Frank Sinatra, Jack Black and Jethro had a son. Imagine no more. He is here, in all his glory,’ with Baker not only a rising star on the stand-up circuit, but also an accomplished jazz singer and musician to boot.
As well as getting their mitts on three sets of new material, comedy fans over 18 will also be tucking into a new hot food menu and late night bar at the Guildhall, meaning September should be looking positively perky.
