Richard Morton stand-up at Gloucester Guildhall

Catch stand-up comedian, songwriter and Time Out Comedy Award-winner Richard Morton, when the funny man gives it his all at Gloucester Guildhall.

Gloucester Guildhall’s popular The Big Laugh series of comedy events will see funny man Richard Morton entertaining audiences this August – promising a seasoned performance from the Time Out Comedy Award-winner.

With comedy songs at his core, Richard has built up a strong reputation as a live act, having complete several major UK tours supporting comedy greats Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jo Brand and Eddie Izzard, no less.

A regular on the international comedy circuit, Morton has graced many a festival – he’s said to be a big favourite at the Edinburgh Festival – and first came to prominence as one half of musical duo The Panic Brothers, best known for their Channel Four Friday Night Live appearance in 1988.

Richards’s subsequent television credits include Comedy Exchange, The Jack Doherty Chat Show, The Stand Up Show and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, to name just a few, in addition to countless radio performances.
