Robin Ince's Bad Book Club in Gloucester
Catch Robin Ince’s brand new Bad Book Club on stage at Gloucester Guildhall, when the multi-award-winner comes to town.
Set to end another year of The Big Laugh events on a high note, Robin Ince’s Bad Book Club will be entertaining audience at Gloucester Guildhall this Saturday 4 December 2010.
Ince, curator of Nine Lessons And Carols For Godless People, co-creator of BBC Radio 4’s Infinite Monkey Cage and stand-up comedy trailblazer, is stopping off in Gloucestershire as part of an absolutely jam-packed tour of his new show.
Said to combine his twin passions, science and bad literature, the Bad Book Club clashes Cliff Richard biographies with evolutionary biology, Dutch astrology with books on how to pick up sexy girls, and spiders from Mars are explained away as a scientific impossibility.
For those not in the know, Robert Ince’s accoldades include the Time Out Comedy Award, Chortle Award, Observer Award and a British Comedy Award nomination, while he has also been seen and heard on Nerdstock, Mock The Week and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
For a night of alternative comedy to remember 2010 by, book tickets now for this one-night-only performance in the county.
