Emma Samms to star in Jack and the Beanstalk

News – Dynasty actress Emma Samms will be starring in the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk at The Everyman in Cheltenham.

Actress Emma Samms will be swapping the bright lights of Hollywood to tread the restored boards at The Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham, when she joins the pantomime cast in this year’s Jack and the Beanstalk.

The star of hit television shows including Dynasty and General Hospital will be playing the part of the Good Fairy when the annual panto opens at The Everyman on Friday 25 November 2011.

Now a Gloucestershire resident, organisers say that the actress has brought her two children to the Everyman’s pantomime for many years and is thrilled to be part of the family-friendly show.

Emma said: ‘Every year the Everyman produces a pantomime that is truly magical. It’s everything a pantomime should be – gorgeous costumes, lovely singing and dancing and the funniest Dame I’ve ever seen. It’s brilliant fun for both children and adults and I feel very privileged to be involved.’

Gloucestershire theatre-goers can see Emma Samms on stage in Jack and the Beanstalk until Sunday 8 January 2012, with tickets costing from £10.
