It was an absolute joy to see such a quality production so far away from the West End...

Richard Holmes, Cheltenham

It's a great varied venue. I've been a couple of times with my girlfriend and with the parents, and always had a good night out. One of the finest places for going out in the county in my opinion. 15 September 2009

Joe Montana, Southgate, London

I think it is the best venue in Cheltenham, although I saw an act in a local pub that was Town Hall material. I was shocked, he played at the Cotswold Inn, something Maloney. I expect the Town Hall to try and net local talent instead of international. 9 September 2008

Cheltenham Town Hall is a fantastic venue - I wouldn't know what to do with my time in Cheltenham without it. While I admit to giving the more 'classical' events a miss, there's plenty to keep me entertained: gigs, stand-up comedy and more - thank goodness for Cheltenham Town Hall is all I can say! 4 March 2008

Joanne, Cheltenham

We're very lucky to have Cheltenham Town Hall. It's a fantasitc venue for such a, relatively, small town and there lineup of events is second to none. Some are better than others of course, but there's some real gems to look out for, particularly the classical music. 8 January 2008

Nicola Hewitt, Newnham

It is a very good venue and most of the many acts/shows I have seen there warrant the price paid... with one notable exception recently and that was the Paul Merton Black and White show which was a blatant rip-off, the man himself talking very briefly in a less than animated fashion, telling a few very old jokes, and then put a film on for the second half! I had paid for two adult and child tickets so was not very impressed at all. Not your proudest moment as a venue... but going hopefully to the Circus if i can get tickets for Wednesday so hopefully that will bolster up my opinion again! 26 November 2007
