I recommend a visit to the Kings Theatre - it has a fantastic atmosphere and the wide variety of plays there will appeal to all. Do yourself a favour if you are keen on theatre - take a trip to the Kings! 24 January 20009

You'll find high quality drama here throughout the year. What a pity the reviewer of the Picturedrome has been travelling to Cheltenham and Tewkesbury for the past year when he has this super little theatre right on his doorstep. 22 December 2008

Chris Fordham, Gloucester

Gloucester would be a very boring place without the Kings Theatre. I've only lived in Gloucester for three years but the Kings has become a regular place for us to go to see fantastic amateur dramatic plays by the Crown Players and The Phoenix players who share the theatre. It is tucked away but well worth seeking out, we've always had great evening of entertainment there, plus it has a bar for that pre drink! 1 December 2008
