Giving Gloucestershire crowds the chance to experience her distinctive brand of brazen humour, comedienne Jenny Eclair will be making a welcome return to the county in 2013, when her new tour arrives at Cheltenham Town Hall.
While her humour may be an acquired taste, fans will be turning out in force to catch the Grumpy Old Woman on Friday 1 March 2013.
Ms Eclair has become as recognisable for her TV stints as her tireless touring of UK comedy clubs, but what you might not already know is that the platinum blonde was the first female to scoop the prestigious Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.
Expect lots of stuff about being on the mad side of forty, the odd joke about front bottoms and a bit of swearing, organisers say, as well as a tale or too from the jungle.
And as she’s performing in the intimate Pillar Room, with a capacity of just 300, tickets are set to be snapped up smartish.
