The Crucible at Everyman Theatre

Theatregoers will be immersed in a chilling story and atmospheric production when Arthur Miller's classic play, The Crucible, takes to the stage at Everyman Theatre this spring.

Arthur Miller’s classic, The Crucible, will be brought to life in a bold new production at Everyman Theatre this spring, starring Coronation Street's Charlie Condou and Victoria Yeates from Call the Midwife.

Set to enthral audiences from Monday 20 to Saturday 25 March 2017, the show is set in a 17th-century New England town, where a children’s game leads to terrifying consequences and allegations of witchcraft.

With the community thrown into a state of paranoia, accusation and manipulation, suspicion prevails, with the iconic play a dark reminder of how hysteria can succeed over reason.

Boasting atmospheric staging, the adaptation of Arthur Miller’s theatre classic will see Sell A Door Theatre Company and The Queens Theatre Hornchurch join forces, in association with Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg.
