EastEnders invites viewers to choose wedding music

Popular soap EastEnders is giving the public the chance to choose the wedding music for Jane and Ian Beale's forthcoming nuptials.

One of EastEnders’ longest-running characters Ian Beale is to tie the knot with Jane for the second time.

And viewers have until 12pm on Wednesday 4 February 2015 to vote for which song they think would be most suitable for Mr and Mrs Beale to walk down the aisle to.

The choices include ‘The Power of Love’ by Jennifer Rush; ‘I Want to Know What Love Is’ by Foreigner; ‘You’re the Inspiration’ by Chicago; ‘That Ole Devil Called Love’ by Alison Moyet, and ‘There Must be an Angel’ by Eurythmics. Viewers can head to the EastEnders page on the BBC website to cast their votes.

It’s fair to say that Ian’s had a bit of a rough time of late in Albert Square with viewers yet to find out who killed his daughter Lucy in the dramatic storyline that has gripped the nation.

Tune in from Monday 16 February 2015 to find out if you guessed the winning song when Ian and Jane’s wedding takes place during EastEnders ‘Live Week’.

Viewers can also expect a host of revelations to come out of the woodwork, including who killed Lucy Beale. Dum, dum, dum, dum, dum, dumdumdumdah…
