Nominations close this Friday for SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards 2021

There are just a few days left to nominate your business or the individuals you think should walk away with the honours at this year’s SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards 2021.

Nominations are still open for the inaugural SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards, giving businesses and individuals in the county a brand-new opportunity to gain the recognition they deserve.

But you only have until Friday (18 June 2021) to visit soglos.com/awards-business to enter your nominations, before the judges descend.

Unlike some awards nominating is no onerous task, with the aim to make entry as easy as possible so we have the very best chance of ensuring showcase and celebrate the very best Gloucestershire has to offer – giving credit where it is due to the tremendous businesses, entrepreneurs, managers and staff across the county.

And who better than the businesses themselves, many of whom have stepped forward to make these awards possible, to explain why you should step forward and nominate.

Sebastian Merritt, head of corporate services and employee benefits at Brunsdon Financial, sponsor of Best Place to Work Award, said: ‘It is very important to recognise success in what has been a very difficult 12 to 18 months.

‘Giving people the opportunity to compete and be successful is a really important that we give business the recognition for the good job they are doing.’

Stuart Emmerson director of business development at Hartpury University and Hartpury College - category sponsor of the 'Most Innovative Business' of the Year, said: ‘I think the SoGlos business awards are incredibly important for the county.

‘Despite Covid there is much to be positive about. We can come together to acknowledge the challenging times business have been through and shine a light and showcase those businesses that have supported and kept communities going.’

Chris Wills, corporate partner at Willans LLP, which is sponsoring the Growth Business of the Year Award at the event, said: ‘We urge you to enter your business and to be part of the inaugural awards. All businesses in 2021 can benefit from a platform like SGGBA, no matter how big or small, with many award categories to choose from.

‘The county is an exceptional place to live, work and do business, and when a well-known brand like SoGlos throws its weight behind these awards, we know it will help to reinforce this message.’

The SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards are free to enter, open to businesses regardless of size and turnover, and welcomes everyone from the very biggest household names to newcomers which are already blazing a trail.
