What’s on offer

Since 2017, Start and Grow Enterprise has invested £300,000 and 10,000 hours supporting over 1,000 small businesses in Gloucestershire with advice, guidance, consultancy and events.

For those who haven’t yet started their business, its Start-up Course is the first step on the way to building a successful business, covering the most important elements of getting started, along with how to overcome common roadblocks that new businesses face.

The Business Planning workshop introduces an invaluable tool to get you well on your way to a full-length business plan, and the Business Registration workshop guides business owners through the process of formalising, structuring, and registering your business.

If your business is already running, the Growth Course helps take your business from good to great, honing in on specialisms, markets, and solving any challenges which have been building up in the background.

Business owners can hand-pick workshops that focus on challenges specific to the growth their business, ranging from social media marketing and creating a brand, to legal structures and managing cash flow.

Start and Grow also offers the chance to apply for a package of free business coaching, with selected businesses being matched to a coach whose experience and expertise matches the specific challenges their business is facing, for an invaluable series of one-to-one support sessions.

It also offers the opportunity to apply for a £1,000 Enterprise Voucher to help you grow your business. This reimbursed grant can be used in any way which legitimately helps your business grow; from social media training or website development, to financial advice, to manufacturing equipment, and more; as well as a monthly Enterprise Networking morning with its inspiring community.
