1. Talk Business Gloucester UNO Networking launch event at Spago

Talk Business UNO is due to launch its twice-monthly, face-to-face networking event format at Spago Gloucester on Wednesday 4 May 2022, between 7.30am and 9am.

There is free parking for two hours for every registered delegate, with the opening event free to attend to give everyone an opportunity to introduce themselves and their business.

2. Reach overseas customers with the Department for International Trade at The Forest of Dean Growth Hub

The Forest of Dean’s Growth Hub is due to stage another useful event for county businesses, this time with the Department for International Trade to explain how it can help grow your company’s exports.

Expect information on the current internationalisation match funding scheme, the Export Academy and the UK Export Finance, with international trade adviser Stefano Pucello on hand to answer questions.

3. Three Simple Steps for Creating Incredible Ideas workshop at Hartpury Agri-Tech Centre

Presenting three simple steps that businesses can take to create massive ideas, this workshop at Hartpury’s Digital Innovation Farm Tech Box Park will help delegates generate new propositions that resonate with new customers; new products; services and marketing strategies; ways to unlock more sales; and ways to solve business challenges.

Visit Hartpury’s Digital Innovation Farm Tech Box Park and meet presenter, Nikolas Venios, innovation strategist and founder of The Ideas Agency – named one of the top 500 UK creative talents to watch by The Guardian.

4. Entrepreneurs’ Network Event at Kingsholm Stadium

Start and Grow Enterprise is due to stage another free Entrepreneurs’ Network Event, aimed at Gloucestershire-based entrepreneurs and SMEs on Wednesday 11 May 2022.

Taking place at Gloucester Rugby’s Kingsholm Stadium between 10am and 12pm, the event is billed as ‘a chance to gain valuable tips and insights from professionals, experts, other start-ups and entrepreneurs, to connect and share skills.’

5. Purusha Gordon at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester

Ocean Sheroes, a four-woman rowing team, completed the challenge to row unsupported across the Pacific Ocean in June 2021, finishing the race in record time and breaking both the previous men’s and women’s world records.

Crewmember and health and wellbeing expert, Purusha Gordon, is due to speak at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester on Thursday 12 May 2022, as the headline draw for a Growth Hub event designed to inspire business people and anyone who attends.

6. Gloucester & Cheltenham Jobs Fair at Kingsholm Stadium

The Gloucester & Cheltenham Jobs Fair is due to take place on Friday 13 May 2022 at Kingsholm Stadium from 10am to 1pm.

Free to attend with free parking, the event will give job seekers the chance to meet HR teams face to face, discover new job opportunities, find careers and CV advice, apprenticeships training courses and self-employed opportunities, too.

7. Gloucestershire’s Best Business Growth Meeting in Brockworth

The Entrepreneurs Circle Local Meeting bills itself as ‘a new type of business growth meeting that is guaranteed to help your business grow’, sharing actionable tactics and strategies for business leaders to start using right away.

Staged by Gloucestershire’s Ambassador Team, the panel has 75 years of experience between them and will be focusing on how a practical marketing strategy can win your business more customers.

8. How to plan your business growth at Tewkesbury Growth Hub

Aimed at business owners and managers, this Tewkesbury workshop is being laid on by the town’s Growth Hub and is free to attend.
