New Head appointed at Cheltenham College

Cheltenham College has announced the appointment of its new Head, Mrs Nicola Huggett, set to take up her post at the independent school in September 2018.

Leading independent school, Cheltenham College, will see in a new chapter under the guidance of its new Head, Mrs Nicola Huggett, who will take up the role in September 2018.

Currently Head of Blundell’s School in Devon, Mrs Huggett has been hailed as ‘uniquely talented and inspirational’, boasting an education at Marlborough College and Oxford University, along with a teaching career which reaches back to 1994.

Speaking of her new post, Mrs Huggett said: ‘I am delighted to have been selected to lead Cheltenham College in the next phase of its development, building on the excellent work and strong foundations laid by Dr Alex Peterken.

‘I know it will be a privilege to work alongside the outstanding team of staff at college and the prep, and I look forward very much to meeting with parents, guardians, pupils and Old Cheltonians in due course.’
