Budding boy singers aged six to 10 have the chance to Be a Chorister for the Day at Dean Close Preparatory School, during its annual autumn event.
Taking place at the Prep School on Tuesday 13 November 2018, the event offers the ideal opportunity to find out what’s involved when joining the choristership.
Upon arriving at the school, boys can enjoy some professional singing coaching, delivered by the Director of the Schola Cantorum and other members of the school’s key music staff. Following a break, they’ll head to Tewkesbury Abbey to rehearse for Evensong.
Meanwhile parents will get the chance to meet members of staff at Dean Close Prep School, as well as receiving a presentation about what it means to be a chorister.
With Evensong starting at 5.15pm, parents are invited to watch their child at Tewkesbury Abbey; while there’ll be more opportunity to meet staff and other parents.
