Make memories with a magical visit to Slimbridge Wetland Centre’s grotto this Christmas, with the chance for children to meet Santa, toast marshmallows and more.

Festive magic is being sprinkled across Slimbridge Wetland Centre this December, when families can meet Santa Claus in his grotto, decorate gingerbread men, toast marshmallows and take part in some Christmassy crafts too.

Taking place on selected weekends during December 2019, the Santa’s Coming to Slimbridge event also features a festive post office, where children can write their own letter and post it off to the North Pole.

And, Christmas just wouldn’t be complete without tasty treats, so Slimbridge is offering visitors a choice of breakfast or afternoon tea as part of its special Santa packages. Whether it’s scrumptious sausages, hash browns, bacon and eggs you fancy or perhaps mince pies, jam, scones and cakes, either option adds a special touch to an already magical family day out.
