Cheltenham’s annual Open-Air Theatre Festival returns to Bacon Theatre's Tuckwell Amphitheatre for another summer of alfresco drama, musical performances, cinema under the stars, and a whole heap of family fun.

The Tuckwell Amphitheatre at Cheltenham’s Bacon Theatre will be playing host to the Open-Air Theatre Festival once again in 2019, giving drama fans, film buffs and families the perfect opportunity to enjoy a series of must-see events.

Audiences can look forward to celebrating sun-drenched days and starlit nights in style, with gripping drama, feel-good films, and family favourites all on the programme, which runs from Tuesday 16 July to Thursday 1 August 2019.

Gates open 90 minutes before each show, providing the perfect opportunity to grab refreshments from the Festival Café or a delicious wood fired pizza from the Old Dough Pizza Company on selected dates.

Taking place within the secluded setting of Bacon Theatre’s Greek-style amphitheatre, the family-friendly festival offers an eclectic line-up, with SoGlos detailing this year’s events below.

Tethered Wits: Uncle Vanya
