Remembrance Parades in Gloucestershire photo gallery readers have taken some stunning photographs of 2008’s Remembrance Day Parades across Gloucestershire.

Remembrance Day parades and services were held across Gloucestershire on Remembrance Sunday 9 November 2008.

The event, also known as Poppy Day, commemorates both the sacrifices members of the armed forces and civilians in times of war have made, during the annual occasion which has been marked since World War I’s Armistice Day. readers Andy Sallis and Lamerie attended Remembrance Day Parades in Tewkesbury and Stroud respectively, producing captivating photographs of the historic annual event.
