From home-schooling superstars to people creating PPE from home, the project looks to feature the unsung heroes of the community during the Coronavirus crisis.

Lock Down Hero is a new photo documentary project from Marksteen Adamson, creative director of Cheltenham based branding agency ASHA, aiming to celebrate the unsung heroes in the community, who are stepping up to new roles and responsibilities in the face of the Coronavirus crisis.

So far the project features an art lecturer from the University of Gloucester who put together a team of her former students to make scrubs for staff at Gloucester Royal Hospital, a seamstress who turned her hand to crafting PPE and many more heart-warming stories.

People are being asked to nominate their lockdown heroes from Cheltenham and the surrounding areas for a chance to get them featured in the project.

Sticking to strict social distancing guidelines, successful nominees will have a portrait taken by Marksteen Adamson, and have their photo and story shared on the Lockdown Heroes UK Facebook page.

To nominate a lockdown hero, write a short submission story and send it to us@agencyasha.com.
