Celebrating its 75th anniversary, Stroud Arts Festival brings a packed line up of events to venues across the town in autumn 2021.

Stroud Arts Festival is celebrating 75 years of supporting the arts in the Stroud district, with a packed schedule of events this autumn 2021.

Curated by composer and musician, Dave Ayre, Stoud Arts Festival kicks off in September 2021 with classical music and live theatre.

In October, the free Stroud Arts Festival Exhibition takes place from Tuesday 19 to Saturday 23 October 2021 at the Stroud Subscription Rooms, showing off the charity’s legacy and the artists it has promoted.

Grammy-nominated orchestra, Sinfonia Viva, performs on Friday 22 October 2021 for what’s promised to be one of the highlights of the festival, before returning again on Saturday 23 October 2021 with its Flutter & Fly interactive concerts for children.

Stroud Symphony Orchestra is joined by violinist John Pearce for a performance on Saturday 20 November 2021, while the 2021 season is brought to a close with two spectacular performances of Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro by Hewletts Opera on Saturday 11 December 2021 – with a free relaxed performance at 2pm, ideal for children, adults with learning disabilities or other sensory needs and their carers.

Ticket prices vary per event, ranging from £7 up to £25 each, with family tickets also available for Flutter & Fly at £21 for families of up to four. Tickets for the 2pm relaxed performance of Marriage of Figaro are free, but must be pre-booked.
