Follow the festive trail around the Museum of Gloucester for some family fun this Christmas – with exciting exhibitions to discover too.

The Museum of Gloucester is hosting a family-friendly Christmas Trail this December 2021, perfect for keeping little ones entertained during the festive season.

Pick up a Christmas Trail sheet from reception and follow the clues around the museum and its fascinating exhibits – spotting everything from human skulls and Roman ruins to the famous Birdlip Mirror on your way.

There are also goody bags available, with treats to take home and enjoy after your visit.

There’s still time to catch the Museum of Gloucester’s latest exhibitions too, with She Has Rizzen – a colourful retrospective of artwork from Gloucester-based artist, Rizpah Amadasun; and History, Her Story, Their Story, Our Story – a thoughtful exhibition or work from local artists mentored by esteemed photographer, Vanley Burke, available to view until Friday 31 December 2021.

Christmas Trail sheets are available from Saturday 11 December 2021 and cost £1 each and goody bags cost £4 each from the Museum of Gloucester reception.

Admission to the Museum of Gloucester is free, with visitors able to pay what they can afford to view the exhibitions.
