Hillside Brewery launches Beer Pilates Retreat

Get set to enjoy a workout with a difference as Hillside Brewery launches its unique Beer Pilates Retreat in the Forest of Dean, promising the perfect day out for foodies and fitness fanatics alike.

Popular Forest of Dean craft beer business, Hillside Brewery, has added to its offering with the launch its new Beer Pilates Retreat, providing the ultimate day of fun for businesses searching for unique team building ideas.

Created specifically for the brewery by Gloucestershire-based Pilates expert, Samantha Lewis, the one-day retreat not only offers a rejuvenating workout and a beer-sampling session, but the chance to experience the intricacies of Hillside’s brewing process up close.

Following brunch on arrival, teams are taken on a brewery tour, before creating a personalised ale to take home with you. After selecting your beer of choice, participants then head outside for the group Pilates session, incorporating moves that you’ll be able to master with a bottle in hand!

The remainder of the day can be spent relaxing with a freshly-prepared meal and a few more pints of Hillside’s finest ale. Camping is also available on the stunning 40-acre farm for those keen to carry the team building celebrations late into the evening.

Speaking about the unique retreat, the director of Hillside Brewery, Paul Williamson said: ‘Everyone loves to unwind with a beer or two, so we thought we’d maximise the relaxation stakes by offering a retreat that combines our craft ales with an expert-led Pilates session, actually incorporating beer-sampling into well-known Pilates moves.’

The retreats can be tailored to each group’s needs and preferences, with prices starting from £86 per person, based on a minimum of eight taking part.
