The Botanist announces opening date

Cheltenham’s newest bar and restaurant has revealed when it will open its doors at The Brewery Quarter.

The Botanist will open its newest branch in Cheltenham on Monday 3 December 2018.

The award-winning cocktail and culinary experts have announced that they plan to be open at the start of December, ready for drinkers and diners looking to celebrate the festive season in style.

The Botanist brand, which is operated by the leisure brand The New World Trading Company, also has bars in notable locations such as Birmingham, Newcastle and Chester.

Hosting cocktail masterclasses as well as serving deli sharing boards, meaty feasts and bountiful brunches, The Botanist, as the name suggests, is plant-themed, with its other restaurants featuring flower-adorned walls, indoor trees and vines running up the walls.

The bar will take on a 6,500 square foot unit within the Brewery Quarter, and will be open ahead of Christmas 2018.

Nikki Kontarines is asset manager for Martin Commercial Properties, which manages The Brewery Quarter. She said: ‘The Botanist is a fantastic signing for The Brewery Quarter, as the scheme continues to go from strength to strength. The Botanist is renowned for its spectacular interiors and lively atmospheres, and we can’t wait to see the end result.’
