Gloucestershire’s Hillside Brewery is dedicated to producing a range of top-quality traditional ales at its brewery based in Longhope in the Forest of Dean.
The brewery, which launched in May 2014, enjoys a picturesque location and the advantage of its own bore hole, which supplies perfect limestone-filtered rainwater to give a fantastic taste to each beer.
Hillside uses mainly local English hop varieties along with hops from around the world to create its high-quality ales, while its seasonal Craft Specials combine traditional styles with innovative flavours for a truly unique take on beer.
Ale enthusiasts can see first-hand how Hillside Brewery creates its real ales during its regular brewery tours, while there’s also the option to create your own recipe with the help of the head brewer.
The brewery benefits from a bar area where you can sample beers, while the 200-seat capacity renovated barn is perfect for hosting parties, weddings, and stag and hen dos. Hillside also has a bustling calendar of events, including beer & food pairings, beer festivals, fun runs, quiz nights, seasonal dinners, summer fetes and more.
Hillside offers a variety of experience packages, including unique beer Pilates, Battlezone Archery and Bubble Football, which can be combined with brewery tours to create the ultimate day out.
