On the menu: The Ox Cheltenham offers the perfect setting for enjoying a delicious Mother’s Day meal, with its Sunday lunch menu featuring tasty dishes to suit all palates. The restaurant, which is best known for its fine selection of steaks and meats, creates lip-smackingly good food using local and seasonal produce. The Sunday starters include Ox smoked salmon with cucumber and wasabi yoghurt; roasted bone marrow with Parmesan and caramelised onion on toast; and barbecue quail with tandoori sauce and spiced lentil. The star of the show is The Ox’s roasts, spanning crisp belly of pork; roast beef rib-eye; roast chicken; and a veggie option, which are served with roast potatoes, leeks and greens, cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire pudding. And, if you want to get your steak fix, you can also order a rump, rib-eye, sirloin or bavette, accompanied with triple-cooked chips and green peppercorn sauce.
