Celebrity cooks

Featuring some familiar faces across the weekend, visitors can see ITV’s Lorraine chef, Dean Edwards on Friday 26 July 2019, who will be cooking a storm with three free demos across the day, as well as a book signing.

Saturday’s celebrity guest is Rosemary Shrager who’s famous for her countless cooking programmes, time on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and stint as a judge on The Big Family Cooking Showdown. Join Rosemary for cooking demonstrations and a signing of her latest cook book.

On Sunday 28 July 2019, Phil Vickery will treat visitors to some seriously scrumptious cooking demonstrations and the chance to get his new book too.

Food and drink

The three-day Food Festival Market is set to be particularly popular with savvy shoppers on the hunt for fine foods, cookware, unique crafts and tempting treats, with an impressive line-up of local food producers also part of the programme.

Promising an unforgettable alfresco dining experience, hungry visitors can enjoy the chance to sample some fantastic street food, along with cooling ice-cream and sweet treats, not to mention plenty of refreshing summer drinks to wash it all down with.

Offering everything from craft brews, local cheeses and handmade fudge, to traditional pies, condiments and farm fresh sausages, the long list of producers includes the likes of the English Spirit Company, The Beefy Boys, Lakehouse Brewery, Ben & Jerry’s, The Big Red Bus Bar, and many, many more.

Entertainment

Providing plenty for all ages, visitors will be treated to live music from some of the most talented bands and singers around. The Voice finalist Vince Freeman, local singer Jessica Rhodes and The Strays are just some of the acts gracing the stage.

Adding some brilliantly boozy fun to the weekend, Gloucester Quays Food Festival will also feature GINGO – bingo alongside a gin school. A fun way to learn about different gins and test your lucky streak with a game of bingo.
