Gloucestershire foodies are in for a treat when Gloucester Quays Food Festival returns this July 2023, with two days of delicious dishes, celebrity chefs and family fun.
Taking over Gloucester Quays on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July 2023, there's a packed menu including open-air cookery demonstrations, artisan produce, street food stalls and live music.
The open-air cookery theatre is being hosted by chef and TV presenter Chris Bavin once again, with the chance to see live cookery demonstrations from chef and entrepreneur Levi Roots; Great British Bake Off 2021 finalists Crystelle Pereira and Freya Cox; Bake Off — The Professionals judge and award-winning pastry chef, Cherish Finden; Great British Bake Off 2022 finalist Sandro Farmhouse and viewer's favourite, Janusz Domagała.
All the demonstrations are free to watch, with no tickets required, but visitors are advised to arrive early if they want to catch a glimpse of their favourite chef, as all spaces are first come, first served.
Alongside the celebs, visitors can enjoy browsing for delicious local produce at over 150 stalls selling everything from freshly-baked cakes to artisan alcohol, as well as tucking into gourmet street food, sipping local beers from the event’s pop-up bar and enjoying live music at Orchard Square throughout the weekend, with children's entertainment planned, too.
There's plenty of spots for alfresco dining at Gloucester Quays' many restaurants, plus there’s up to 70 per cent off top cookware brands like Denby, Le Creuset and ProCook for anyone who’s inspired to fire up their pans when they head home.
Gloucester Quays Food Festival is completely free to attend, with the action getting underway from 10am each day.
