Foodies and wine connoisseurs are in for a treat when Lords of the Manor hosts an evening of sensational seasonal dining at its Game Dinner this autumn.

Set to delight diners on Thursday 16 November 2017, the six-course seasonal game menu has been especially created by the hotel’s head chef, Charles Smith, to be accompanied by paired wines, coffee, and petit fours.

What’s more, the exquisite wines have been specially chosen by Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe Vineyard owner Daniel Brunier, who will showcase his expertise during dinner, discussing the wines and the reason for pairing them with each course.

The six-course meal begins with pumpkin soup and gingerbread, followed by smoked mallard breast with foie gras, garden apples, beetroot and blackberry; ravioli of Norfolk quail breast with wild mushrooms and thyme-infused consommé; and Salisbury Plain venison with Cumberland condiments, winter vegetables and chestnut mousse.

Diners can finish with a sweet treat, tucking into malted milk tart with orange and stem ginger marmalade, and quince ice-cream, before coffee and petit fours complete the delicious dinner.

For those wanting the ultimate luxurious experience, Lords of the Manor is offering an exclusive accommodation rate for diners, with prices starting from £150 per room, per night, to include a full English breakfast.
