Firing up the bank holidays of many a heat fiend and local family, Eastnor Chilli Fest is sure to pack a punch when it returns for its anticipated eighth year.
Taking place at the Ledbury castle on Sunday 5 and Monday 6 May 2019, the fiery fest promises fun for the family, with two days of food, drink, entertainment and activities awaiting visitors.

Try and buy all-things chilli at Eastnor, where a wide variety of delicious food and drinks will be on offer.
The impressive selection of stalls span tasty treats, cocktails, beer, local cider, and of course, plenty of spicy delights, with foodie highlights including The Beefy Boys, Habanero Mexi Street Food, Chilli Dogs, Crazy Creperie, and The Mighty Soft Shell Crab.
With stalls including Oscars Bar, Boozy Belles Vintage, Tipsy Fruit Gins Ltd, Seb’s Cider and Lake House Brewery keeping thirsts quenched!
Hone your kitchen skills with a number of cooking demonstrations from top chefs across both days of the Chilli Fest.
There will be appearances from Rayeesa’s Indian Kitchen, The Beef Boys, Our Lizzy vegan street food, Italian chef Felice Tocchini, and artisan baker Rob Swift, with more still to be confirmed.
A fiery highlight of the festival, the Chilli Eating Competition will see brave competitors putting their taste buds to the test in a fierce and very hot contest!
Hosted by the Clifton Chilli Club, the contest offers some spicy competition and tough trials for those taking part…
Providing an upbeat soundtrack to the bank holiday, there will be plenty of live music to enjoy across the two days. Soak up the sounds of resident festival band, Los Squideros, as well as Arcadia Roots, who are back by popular demand.
Other entertaining highlights during the event include Bhangra dancing workshops, and a stilt walking and fire show.
Eastnor Chilli Fest has plenty to keep children entertained, including a knight’s maze, a junior obstacle course, an adventure playground, a tree top walkway, lakeside and woodland walks, a woodland play area, rope swing route and a tree hunters’ trek.
Plus, there will be Children’s Cookery School workshops running throughout the festival too – perfect for mini chefs!
