From traditional crêpes with lashings of lemon and sugar to a syrupy stack of fluffy American style pancakes, there are plenty of Gloucestershire restaurants and cafés offering pancakes for takeaway or delivery this Pancake Day on Tuesday 16 February 2021– with SoGlos rounding up eight of them in this hot list.
With a vast selection of crêpes that come with toppings like ice cream, cake, cookies and chocolate, even the sweetest-toothed pancake fans will find plenty to enjoy at Creams in Cheltenham’s Brewery Quarter. Delivery is available through Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.
Stroud’s Lavender Bakehouse has both pancakes with bacon and pancakes with fruit on its menu, which is available for collection from 10am until 2pm. Orders can be placed on the Lavender Bakehouse website.
Italian restaurant, Dolce and Salato, on Winchcombe Street in Cheltenham is offering both sweet and savoury pancakes for collection or delivery through Just Eat.
Kaspa’s Dessert Café on Station Road in Gloucester offers an impressive selection of crêpes, from Bananaberry to Belgian White Chocolate, with delivery available from Just Eat and Uber Eats.
The Find on Cheltenham’s Regent Street is offering Pancake Day treat boxes to enjoy at home – with enough pancakes for two or four people; a selection of toppings from bacon and maple syrup to caramelised bananas, toasted pecans, cream and honey; plus tea or coffee. You can even order pancake batter to have a go at flipping them yourself. Place an order for collection or delivery on The Find’s website.
The Curious Café and Bistro on Bath Road in Cheltenham offers buttermilk pancakes with fruit, Chantilly cream and maple syrup on its breakfast menu, available from 8am to 3pm via Deliveroo.
Cheltenham’s Cotswold Breakfast Factory launched its new kids’ breakfast range on Wednesday 3 February 2021 – with a pancake box containing three pancakes and a portion of beans available for delivery from Just Eat.
While not strictly limited to Pancake Day, Once Upon A Tea Room’s brunch box contains mini pancakes with syrup, alongside croissants, cakes, cereal and drinks for one, two or six people. Order on the Once Upon A Tea Room website for collection or delivery within Cheltenham.
