Enjoy supper with a truly unique view as Slimbridge Wetland Centre welcomes guests after hours to dine with its majestic Caribbean flamingos.
Taking place on Saturday 4 September 2021, Slimbridge’s first ever Dine with the Flamingos event invites hungry visitors to its restaurant terrace for a mezze-style dinner, where they can gaze out over its flock of pink-feathered friends.
Kick off the evening with a glass of Pimms or fruit punch, before learning all about the fascinating birds during a special flamingo talk from the centre’s learning and engagement team. With a dedicated Q&A session for inquisitive diners to find out more about the breed.
Guests will then be treated to a mezze-style supper on the terrace, featuring a delicious platter and ice cream sundae dessert – all enjoyed with a stunning backdrop as the flamingos go about their evening.
Please note, admission to Slimbridge Wetland Centre is not included and those who want to visit the centre prior to the event must book tickets separately.
