If you like a Crème Egg, you’ll love The Coconut Tree’s Easter twist on its classic Sri Lankan pancake, with a limited edition run of Choccy Hoppers available at the Cheltenham restaurant from Friday 15 until Monday 18 April 2022.
Described as chocolatey heaven with a Coconut Tree Sri Lankan twist, the Choccy Hopper is a Sri Lankan pancake made up of coconut milk and fermented rice flour, garnished with a chocolate Crème egg.
The street food chain has added two seafood dishes and a new vegan option to its menu too. With new dishes including Isso Wade – a warming blend of spices and lentils, packed with a prawn punch; Kos Mallum – tender jackfruit mixed with chillies, garlic and onion; and Salmon, say whaaat? – infused with coconut milk, turmeric, curry leaves and chilli for a thwack of flavour.
