The Hollow Bottom is a charming Cotswold country pub located in the stunning setting of Guiting Power – offering a relaxing place to drink, dine or stay the night.

The independently run pub is owned by Hugh Kelly and prides itself on serving a tempting menu that draws on locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

Diners can expect a traditional yet varied menu, with dishes spanning pub classics in addition to a range of chef’s specials, while on Sundays, roasts are served alongside its regular full menu.

With dishes changing with the seasons, guests can look forward to tapas plates such as halloumi chips with jalapeño ketchup; Charlie’s pork and leek scotch egg; and mixed olives marinated with wild garlic. Meanwhile sample starters include tiger prawns with chilli and garlic butter; and mozzarella balls filled with prosciutto and cherry tomatoes.

The bar stocks a wide range of beers along with two monthly rotating ales from local craft brewers. Cider drinkers are also catered for with a number of choices on offer, while there’s an impressive wine list and a variety of quality spirits to boot.

The Hollow Bottom’s free eight-seater courtesy bus ensures you get home safely at the end of the evening, while those looking to make a night of it can stay in one of the five comfortable rooms, which are the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds.
