Tiger’s Eye is an innovative Pan-Asian fusion restaurant situated at The Old Bell on Gloucester’s historic Southgate Street, and includes two bars and a lounge area.
The unique menu is inspired by head chef Rob Sinyard’s extensive travels across Asia, with a choice of Japanese-style tapas, including some more daring menu options such as chilli-fried crickets and deep-fried elvers.
Other dishes include freshly made sushi, ramen noodles, along with more substantial mains spanning Thai green curry, sesame-coated teriyaki ribs, and five-spice duck breast with wasabi mash.
However, it’s the Black Rock Grill that really gives this city centre restaurant the edge, offering guests the chance to enjoy an interactive dining experience and cook their meat to their liking on a super-heated volcanic rock, right at the table.
Diners can choose from fine wagyu steak and kangaroo fillet, to lamb rump and tuna loin, while there’s also the option of combining your choices to enjoy as meat or fish platters.
Those with a sweet tooth should save room for one of the desserts, which dishes including the likes of banana fitter with toffee sauce, and caramelised oranges with star anise, while the extensive cocktail menu also offers a fitting finale to a meal.
With a stylish interior, unique menu and chance to cook your own steak, Tiger's Eye at The Old Bell in Gloucester offers an interactive dining experience in the heart of the city.
